Few things compare to the freedom of cruising on your jet ski or personal watercraft. Jet ski insurance ensures that you’re protected from the risks of enjoying the water, such as accidents, theft, and liability for damage or injury to others.
Even if you’ve never owned a Jet ski or PWC before we are more than happy to insure you if you have the RYA PWC qualification, we’ll even give you a discount for having it.
We provide theft cover for your Jet ski and PWC whilst ashore even if it’s outside, no need to remove the seat or keep it in a locked building at home.
When taking out a policy, you can choose to be instantly covered & get access to your policy documents.
Get access to our 24-hour emergency claims helpline should you need to make an urgent claim or require assistance.

Hitting the water on your jet ski can be both fun and thrilling is the perfect escape from everyday life. But if the unexpected happens, the cost of repairing or replacing your jet ski or PWC could be overwhelming.
For instance, if your jet ski is vandalised while ashore or you’re found at fault for an accident on the water, jet ski insurance could provide financial protection.
Specialist jet ski insurance through GJW Direct can take your peace of mind to a new level, helping you truly relax and enjoy every ride.
Several factors can influence how much you’ll pay for a jet ski insurance policy, including your claims history, the make and model of your jet ski, and how and where you use it.

Although there is currently no legal requirement for a PWC/Jet Ski rider to have insurance, local byelaws may require otherwise. Most launch sites will ask for third-party liability insurance.
A Personal Watercraft (PWC), also known as a Jet Ski, is a water jet driven craft designed to carry between one and four people. Compared to speedboats and powercraft, PWCs are easier to launch, recover, and store, offering riders a closer connection to the water through their directional water jet propulsion.
All types are covered under GJW Direct’s jet ski insurance policy, which you can get a quote for here.
In the UK, there are tons of launch sites and slipways along the coast where you can launch your jet ski. It’s always a good idea to check the rules at local harbour offices or councils if you’re unsure of where to launch.
