Savvy Navvy Promotion T&Cs
1. The Promoter
The promoter is: Munich Re Specialty Insurance (UK) Limited, t/a GJW Direct, Company No 01262636 of Union Suite 1a, 2-10 Albert Square, Manchester, England, M2 6LW.
2. The promotion
2.1 The title of the promotion is the GJW Direct Savvy Navvy Free License Promotion.
2.2 Policyholders for new and renewing Marina Scheme Policies which are purchased or renewed between 16 September 2022 and 31 December 2023 will be offered a Savvy Navvy 1 year free “Essential” license on a first-come first-serve basis until the 6,000 available licenses are all utilised or the promotional period expires (whichever is the earlier).
2.3 A “Marina Scheme Policy” for the purposes of this promotion is a GJW Direct policy for Motor Cruiser, Yacht, Speedboat, RIB or Narrowboat whose vessels are moored in a recognised marina. 2.4 The “Savvy Navvy License” for the purposes of this promotion is a free 1 year “Essential” license to use Savvy Navvy, a navigational tool run by Savvy Navvy Limited. The Savvy Navvy License runs for one year and is not subject to automatic renewal. Savvy Navvy usage is subject to separate terms and conditions which can be found [HERE].
3. How to enter
3.1 The promotion will run from 16 September 2022 (the "Opening Date") to 31 December 2023 (the "Closing Date") inclusive, or until the Savvy Navvy Licenses have all been distributed, whichever is the earlier.
3.2 All eligible purchases and renewals entered into after the Opening Date and before the Closing Date will be offered the Savvy Navvy License while licenses remain available. All eligible purchases and renewals received after the Closing Date are automatically disqualified.
3.3 To be eligible for the promotion:
(a) Purchase a new Marina Scheme Policy after the Opening Date and before the Closing Date; or
(b) Renew a Marina Scheme Policy after the Opening Date and before the Closing Date.
3.4 The Promoter will not accept:
(a) responsibility for promotion entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any postal failure, equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind; or
(b) proof of posting or transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the promotion.
3.5 By submitting a promotion entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions in the context of the promotion only (but are under no obligation to accept or utilise the Savvy Navvy license).

3.8 If a valid Marina Scheme Policy has been purchased or renewed, within 14 days GJW Direct will email the email address provided on the Policy setting out instructions on how to redeem the Savvy Navvy License. The Marina Scheme Policy number will need to be provided to Savvy Navvy Ltd to redeem the Savvy Navvy License.
4. Eligibility
4.1 The promotion is only open to all residents in the UK aged 16 years or over, except:
(a) employees of Savvy Navvy Limited, the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies;
(b) employees of agents or suppliers of Savvy Navvy Limited, the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the competition or its administration; or
(c) members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above.
4.2 The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the promotion.
4.3 The Promoter will not accept promotion entries that are:
(a) automatically generated by computer;
(b) completed by third parties or in bulk;
(c) illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with;
(d) photocopies and not originals; or
(e) incomplete.
4.4 There is a limit of one entry license per person. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.
4.5 The Promoter reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the promotion.
5. The prize
5.1 The promotion prize is a Savvy Navvy License. There are 6,000 to be claimed, on a first come-first serve basis. There is no cash alternative for the prize.
5.2 The prize is not negotiable or transferable.
5.3 In order to be eligible to claim the prize you must follow the instructions in the email set out in 3.8 above.
6. Claiming the prize
6.1 Please allow 14 days for email delivery of the Savvy Navvy License instructions.
6.2 The Savvy Navvy License may not be claimed by a third party on your behalf.
6.3 The Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to contact eligible entrances. Savvy Navvy Licenses are awarded on a first come first served basis, and the Promoter notes that receipt of Savvy Navvy License instructions does not reserve a Savvy Navvy License. If an eligible entrant cannot be contacted or is not available, or has not claimed their prize within 5 working days of the Announcement Date, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant randomly selected from the correct entries that were received before the Closing Date.
6.4 The Promoter does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize.
7. Limitation of liability
Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
8. Data protection and publicity
8.1 The Promoter will only process your personal information as set out in the Privacy Policy , which shall include obtaining data from Savvy Navvy Ltd to confirm the redemption of the Savvy Navvy License.
9. General
9.1 If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the promotion.
9.2 The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
9.3 These terms and conditions are governed by English law. If any entrants to this promotion wish to take court proceedings, then they must do this within the courts in the United Kingdom.
